It’s time for the annual MLS PTO Box Tops classroom contest.

The contest will run from January 23 - February 23. The top three classes collecting the most Box Tops for Education will receive a special prize. Box Tops that were submitted throughout the school year will be counted towards the competition. Contest totals will be updated and announced weekly. Please remember there is no Box Top sibling rivalry.  Label the bag with each child’s name and their respective teacher and we will count them towards each sibling’s classroom total. It is very helpful for the counters if you group the regular Box Tops in small ziploc bags of 50. Box Tops can be placed in the white bin in the MLS office or sent in your child’s backpack. All Box Tops turned in help earn money for MLS! Thank you.

The holidays are a perfect time to collect Box Tops for Education. Just a reminder that you can send the box tops in anytime and they will count towards the upcoming class competition in January & February.  We will continue that all siblings can get credit for the total amount of Box Tops submitted. Please write each child’s name and their teacher on the bag submitted. Bundles of 50 Box Tops in a plastic bag help make counting speedy. Click here (http://mlspto.org/boxtops) for more details.

New to MLS & Box Tops? Each year Meriwether families collect box tops off of certain products and earn the school close to $1500.  There is a box top can at the entrance to the school where you can drop off your box tops any time or you are welcome to send them in with your child.  Every year the classrooms compete to see which room can bring in the most Box Tops! Please email Holly Roach at boxtops@mlspto.org with any questions. Thank you for your help with this fun and easy fundraiser!

For participating Box Tops products, click here. Box Tops are available on a wide range of products from office supplies to trash bags.

Grocery stores frequently offer ways to earn bonus Box Tops.  Sam's Club currently has an opportunity to earn eBoxTops (which count the same as regular Box Tops) - click here for more information. Make a copy of your submission of any eBoxTops you have earned and credited to Meriwether Lewis Elementary, and place it in the white bin in order for the eBoxTops earned to be counted toward classroom totals.
