Bingo Night is a favorite winter activity!  Parent volunteers assist in planning the event, collecting and distributing prizes, and selling tickets and food.

A perennial kid favorite, the Fun Fair typically takes place in October.  Parent volunteers assist in planning, decorating, organizing games, serving food, and distributing tickets and prizes.  A fun evening for the whole family!

Each September, we kick off the school year with a movie night under the stars. Bring blankets and chairs to sit on, flashlights to find your car, and your best Bluebird Spirit as we gather on the back field at Ivy Elementary! Pack snacks or a picnic dinner, or reserve a whole pizza (or two) in advance. A limited number of pizzas will be sold by the slice starting at 6:30. Movie starts at dusk. Complimentary glow sticks and popcorn will be provided. This is a great event for our school community - we'll see you there!

Each December, Kids Market allows students to sell their handmade crafts and food items to their peers.  Kid vendors can keep, spend, and/or donate a portion of their proceeds to charity.

Scholastic sets up shop at Ivy Elementary each spring, allowing families to restock their home library with new favorites! Parent volunteers are needed to decorate, set up and take down displays, and serve as cashiers.

Each spring, we celebrate our wonderful school with a fun evening out for our parent community. Eat, drink, and bid on a wide array of goods, services, and experiences in the silent auction. All proceeds benefit the Ivy Elementary PTO. Parents organize all aspects of this event, from event planning to gathering donations for prizes and more.

The Ivy Elementary Talent Show takes place every-other year in February or March.  Whether your place is on stage, in the wings, or in the audience, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Ivy Elementary is proud to honor the military service of our staff, student family members, neighbors, and community members who have served our country. Each November, students perform patriotic songs and veterans are recognized during a whole-school meeting. Parents, grandparents, and veterans are invited to attend. A small team of parents works in conjunction with school staff to put the program together. This is a special morning and an important tradition at Ivy Elementary.
